The Collection of Period Motorbikes, the property of the brothers Umberto and Flavio Nigris, was established in 2000 and arose from their passion for “two wheels”.
More than 170 examples of Italian production period bikes, built between 1950 and 1970, are exhibited.
The Nigris collection is made up principally of road motorbikes and scooters. It comprises examples of the most famous brands that produced these bikes. Amongst the various models, one can find Bianchi, Piaggio, Gilera, Moto Guzzi, Ducati, Parilla, Innocenti, Benelli, Laverda, Guazzoni and Morini.
The motorbikes have not only been preserved, some models have also been repaired. A choice was taken. Some specimens were preserved as a reminder of old glories. On the other hand, other models have been repaired to safeguard the historical value and technological solutions of the time.
